Do you cherish quality time with your grandchildren?

Are you happy to bend the ear of anyone who’s willing to hear about the high points of your latest trip with them?

If so, Disney may have just the role for you — on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. And a Disney theme park vacation is part of the deal.

From Sept. 5 to 12, applications are being accepted from mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone else who can help people plan their Disney vacations.

Panelists write 10 to 20 responses per week to people’s questions online. Each response is expected to take about 20 minutes.

The 40 or so people selected will attend a training session at Disney World from December 11 to 15. That’s a solo trip, but panelists will also get a Disneyland or Disney World vacation with up to three family members.

The program started in 2008 and covers Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney Vacation Club.

Chosen panelists will write 10 to 20 responses per week to people’s questions online. Each response is expected to take about 20 minutes.

Suggestions on parking, eating, sunscreen, the age-appropriateness of certain attractions and anecdotes about what your grandchildren liked best are all extremely helpful to people planning multi-generational Disney trips of their own.

“The Disney Parks Moms Panelists live and breathe Disney details,” Leanne O’Regan, Director of Public Relations for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, says in a press release. “We receive thousands of applications each year and narrow it down to a few select Panelists we believe will connect with prospective guests as they plan their vacations.”

Sure, it’s a competitive application process and there are eligibility requirements — but Mickey, Donald, and Goofy aren’t going to be advising people themselves.

They need helpful ambassadors, so if you’re a Disney aficionado, you might as well go for it. You might just find out that it is, indeed, a small world after all.
